News of the Meeting of September 17th

Rob presided over our social gathering and the 2020 Raffle Drawing at Bates House in Setauket, on the edge of the grounds of the Frank Melville Memorial Park.  Since the weather was so pleasant, it was decided that the Drawing should take place on the back patio.  Jen announced that our members had sold a total of 903 Raffle Tickets (out of 1,000).  Judi sold the most tickets and was gifted with a bouquet.  A dozen of our members were present (including Bob H. via Zoom) as seven were invited, one by one, to come forward and pick out a folded ticket stub from the drum that Jen rolled vigorously between picks.  Bill took the folded stubs chosen and wrote the numbers 1 through 7 on each as they were handed to him.  The winners were then announced, starting with #7.  Here are the results of our 2020 Raffle Drawing:
Prize #7: A Wine Basket- Won by Dawn Murray (Ticket sold by Kevin Murray)
Prize #6: $150 Amazon Gift Card- Won by Amy Lund (Ticket sold by Amy Lund)
Prize #5: Spring Lake Golf Outing (For 4/w/cart)- Won by Jenny Lund (Ticket sold by Amy Lund)
