The meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer read by Kim. The club welcomed District
Governor, Beverly James, to the meeting.
After announcements were completed, Beverly spoke about the word of the year, Peace. She explained
how Peace is in our everyday life and how we should be navigating Peace throughout our day.
Everybody was extremely interested in her talk and the club reciprocated by asking her questions. She
also gave every member a Rotary Pin that said PEACE
We then enjoyed a delicious lunch and Nancy explained our weekly club raffle and how it works. John
Rate’s number was picked this week although he did not win the prize. So the pot continues to grow.
We ended the meeting with happy and sad dollars and celebrated any birthdays and anniversaries.
