🇳🇿 Fellowship, Friendship & a Little Friendly Wine Competition! 🍷

What a fantastic evening we had welcoming our New Zealand Rotary friends at Al’s Barn!

There was plenty of laughter, conversation, fellowship and, of course, a little friendly competition as we put New Zealand wines up against Long Island wines.

And the results are in…

🍷 Best Red Wine: Long Island! 🇺🇸

More importantly, the evening was a wonderful reminder of what Rotary is all about — friendship that reaches far beyond our own community and connects Rotarians around the world. A huge thank you to Al for opening his barn and helping make the evening so special!

💙 September Starts with Service

We kicked off September with a great meeting and another opportunity to make an impact in our community!

The Port Jefferson Rotary Club was proud to make a donation to Dare to Dream Community Outreach, an organization based in the Longwood area that provides underprivileged children with opportunities to enjoy special outings and experiences they might not otherwise have.

Helping create happy memories and new experiences for children is exactly the kind of lasting impact Rotary strives to make. We were so happy to support their mission!

🗓️ We’re Changing Things Up!

We know our Rotarians have busy schedules, and we want to make it easier for everyone to attend at least one meeting each month.

So we’re adding a little more flexibility, fellowship and FUN to our Rotary calendar!

1st Tuesday – In-Person Lunch Meeting
2nd Tuesday – Zoom Meeting 💻
3rd Tuesday – In-Person Lunch Meeting
4th Tuesday – Rotarian-Hosted “Happy Hour” 🥂

A new location for our in-person lunch meetings is in the works — stay tuned!

Our focus is simple: fellowship, fun, service and being accommodating to our members. Whether you can join us for lunch, hop onto Zoom, or stop by for Happy Hour, there is a place for everyone at Rotary!
