A great showing at the Nov 17th Meeting!
*Rotarians celebrated the Most Motivated Student, Frank Lunati from the Port Jefferson Middle School, a 6th grader who has been an exemplary student. Pictured with his teacher, Mrs. Roth-Ueno, his parents and Principal Brian Walker.
*Our Rotary donated a dinner for up to 10 people at Al Kopcienski's Historic 1600's Barn for the Rotary Foundation Luncheon Silent Auction that was held on Sunday Nov. 12th and we were the highest bid item and raised $1,425 for the Foundation! Anxiously awaiting a great evening of fellowship.
*Our club has accepted 98 Children in need from our local community and all 98 children have been claimed by our Rotarians. Gift wrapping will be on December 12th at 2:40pm with a fellowship celebration of our good deed to follow at Billies 1900.
*Our monthly Open Cupboard collection of items to go to the local food pantry was collected and Dennis and Brian made the delivery. 
*The Rotary Golf Committee is actively planning our annual event for March 2nd with more details to follow.
*President Michael Burghardt will be attending the Regional happenings meeting on December 9th at Camp Paquatuck.
*Next PJ Rotary Club meeting is Tuesday November 21st 12:15pm at Cafe Spiga and we look forward to seeing our member and our monthly evening meeting will be held on Tuesday November 28th at the Historic Port Jefferson Station Terryville Chamber of Commerce Train Car located at the intersection of Rt 112 & Rt 347 where an evening of fellowship and networking will take place. All members are encouraged to attend and to bring their family and potential new members.
