At 8 AM, 5/21, Rotarians, spouses, friends, and 16 members of Port Jeff High's Interact Club and PJ Middle School's Honor Society with their faculty sponsors met on the campus of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck to prepare the site for the imminent arrival of campers.

After enjoying coffee and donuts and admiring the just-completed mural by Splashes of Hope that our club underwrote, these volunteers enthusiastically set to work under clear, sunny skies, mostly clearing and planting flowerbeds and raking leaves. They also took the opportunity to admire the improved facilities, visit with the camp's farm animals (including llamas, pigs, goats, sheep, fowl, etc.), and when the work was completed, enjoy a wonderful barbecue prepared by chefs Kevin and Pat. Thank you
Dennis Brennan, Susan & Bob Hanson, Yvette & Larry Hohler, Bill Jaeger, George & Millie Michos, Ed Miller, Kevin Murray, Brandon Pantorno, Rick Randazzo, Pat Sabo, Kathy Peets,
Deirdre Filippi, Kerry Doonan, Melissa Corey, and those marvelous Port Jeff students,
who all helped make the morning a pleasure rather than a chore.
